Utility Services
The City’s Water System is rated in the top five percent of all water systems in the State with over 1,800 systems evaluated. System evaluations are based on technical, financial and managerial criteria. Ridgeland’s water source is two deep-water supply wells in the Cockfield Aquifer and four deep-water supply wells in the Sparta Aquifer.
After-Hours Water & Sewer Emergencies
For after-hours water and sanitary sewer emergencies, call 601.856-2121. Ridgeland Police will contact the on-call personnel to respond.
Establishing New Service
To establish new service, please come to City Hall at 100 W. School Street. You will need:
- Photo ID
- Copy of your lease or deed
- Deposit (varies depending on size of meter)
- Water User Agreement Form (available at City Hall)
- Water User Agreement Form in Spanish
