Economic Development

The Economic Development Division is charged with a purpose of attracting development and redevelopment projects through taking a proactive position at recruiting new businesses as well as working hard to retain Ridgeland’s existing businesses.  Members of the Division are committed to working with the collective vision and direction of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen in order to ensure that necessary approvals support the intended character of the community and its economic vitality.  Thoughtfully planned land development and economic uses are important for the quality of life in the city.  Contact Bryan Johnson, Director of Economic Development for assistance.
