Whitley Grace Charity Golf Tournament

The Gertrude C. Ford Foundation and the Reservoir Foundation are sponsoring a charity golf tournament for Whitley Grace Mathis, daughter of Ridgeland PD Sgt. Kevin Mathis. Whitley was recently diagnosed with Acute Aplastic Anemia and is currently undergoing treatment at Blair Batson Children’s Hospital. The tournament is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2018, at Castlewoods Country Club. The shotgun start will be at 1:00 pm, with registration starting at 11:00 am. There will be from 20-25 teams, with a $500.00 registration fee per team. All registration fees must be paid to Sgt. Jeff Thames no later than September 1, 2018. Sgt. Thames may be reached at the Ridgeland Police Department. If you would like to sponsor a hole, there is a $200.00 fee, which entitles you to a sign placed at the sponsored hole. A super sponsorship is available for $500.00, with the remaining $300.00 to go toward door prizes, if desired. There will be prizes for first, second, and third place, longest drive, and closest to the hole. Door prizes will also be awarded. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. All of the money raised will go to the Whitley Grace Mathis Fund that is set up through Bancorp South.
