Gail Pittman Photo & Description

In 1992, Gail Pittman moved Gail Pittman Designs to Ridgeland, and she eventually employed more than
one hundred people. All the clay and paint used in her products are made on site at her studio.
Pittman’s hand-painted dinnerware and accessories are known for their bright, colorful motifs, which
include whimsical graphic patterns as well as more traditional designs with flowers and fruit. Gail
Pittman items are on loan to the Historical Society of Ridgeland from First Lady, Jane McGee’s collection
for the opening of the new city hall.
